Where Pulse is meant to differ

  • Monitoring and the status page in one product. The Statuspage pricing page we read lists status-page features (components, subscribers, metrics, notifications); it doesn't list uptime checks, so check Atlassian's docs if you need them.
  • Unlimited subscribers at $9/month, versus subscriber tiers on Statuspage (250 subscribers on the $29 Hobby plan).
  • Status updates driven automatically by your monitors.

These describe what we plan to build. Pulse isn't available yet, so nothing here has been tested by customers.

When to pick Atlassian Statuspage instead

  • You need a status page today. Pulse isn't available yet.
  • You have up to 100 subscribers and 2 team members: Statuspage Free costs nothing.
  • You need SMS or webhook subscriber notifications, many team members, private or audience-specific pages, or you already use Atlassian tools.
  • You already run monitoring elsewhere and only need a hosted status page from an established vendor.

What we couldn't verify

  • Private and audience-specific page prices: listed separately on the same page; not included here.
